Arts For Life Wins 2nd Place in Holiday Tree Contest
at Asheville Regional Airport

Our friends at WNC Magazine sponsored a tree for Arts For Life in the Holiday Tree Decorating Contest at the Asheville Airport for the third year in a row. On December 16, this year's winners were announced - 2nd place and a donation of $625 for Arts For Life.

Every year, the kids in our programs make ornaments just for this tree. In 2007, they made origami cranes, and we took the People’s Choice award. In 2008, they made wishing stars, and we took third place. This year we asked the kids what they wanted to see more of in the world, and they made ornaments with their answers like Hope and Happiness.
